Using final cut express

Below are the stages that we went through when adding transitions to our trailer in Final Cut Express. We used the effects tab then selected the "fade in fade out" option. We wanted to have blackouts within our teaser trailer, to achive this effect, I selected the section of footage where I wanted the effect to go, then went back to the tab/effects/ dissolve to black.
